Lithuania’s ambassador Mrs. Jolanta Balčiūnienė is interviewed by Giedrė Pranaitytė. The relations between the two nations are not the ones established by two altruist, since there is also a variety of economical interests and commercial exchange. It is wonderful that dynamics of relationship between Lithuania and France is positive but it is so because globalisation, opening borders and association in international organizations. The so-called folk diplomacy also plays its role – French culture, music and life-style as well as their art of loving life raises a lot of interest among Lithuanians.
